Experienced Category C+E Lorry Driver

MAM Contracting is seeking an experienced Category C+E licensed lorry driver with up-to-date Driver CPC training to join our team.

Due to the nature of our construction work, this role would ideally suit someone with experience in loading, securing and transporting plant machinery. We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious driver who takes pride in their work and can work effectively with our site and office teams.

Key responsibilities

· Safely transport plant machinery, equipment and materials to and from construction sites.

· Load and unload plant machinery safely, ensuring loads are correctly positioned and secured.

· Carry out daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defects or maintenance requirements.

· Maintain accurate delivery records and relevant driving documentation.

· Follow site safety procedures and applicable driving, working time and tachograph requirements.

· Communicate with the office and site teams to coordinate deliveries and collections.

· Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained, representing MAM Contracting professionally.

Essential requirements

· A valid Category C+E driving licence.

· A current Driver CPC qualification.

· A valid digital tachograph driver card.

· Proven experience driving Category C+E vehicles.

· A responsible approach to road safety, vehicle checks and load security.

· Good communication skills, reliability and the ability to work independently.

Desirable experience

· Loading, unloading and transporting plant machinery.

· Low-loader operations.

· Working within construction, groundworks or a similar industry.

We are looking for a reliable professional working foreman/woman with a proven track record

Requirements:

Liaise with project management and clients to coordinate tasks and communicate progress/issues
Complete and submit daily records I.E task briefs, site records, material records.
Setting out, planning, reading and implementing drawings
Lead a team fostering a positive working environment
Ensure works are carried out to the highest standard and within agreed timescale
Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance at all times
Be hands on and work with the team when required

Licence/Certification:

CSCS (preferred)
PTS (preferred)
Driving licence (required preferably clean)

CSCS (preferred)

Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are being followed at all times

Groundworker

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Groundworkers to join the MAM team.

As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to groundwork and site preparation that will contribute to the overall success of the many projects throughout Scotland that we are involved with.

Experience & Duties

Carry out excavation and groundwork as per the needs of the project
Assist in the installation of drainage, foundations and other essential structures for the project
Operate machinery and equipment whilst adhering to all health and safety regulations
Previous experience in groundwork or construction is preferred but not essential
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and plans accurately
Preferred CSCS Card
Driving License (preferably clean)

Tractor Operator

We are actively seeking an experienced tractor driver to join our team.

Due to the nature of our business, working locations can vary throughout Scotland, therefore, this role would suit someone who is flexible with working locations.

Essential for this role:

Experience of driving a tractor and
Knowledge and understand of all things H&S related in relation to driving a tractor
Due to the nature and the physical demand of the job, the candidate should be in good health
Prepared to work long hours outdoors in nature
Knowledge of agricultural/forestry industry

Responsibilities:

Driving and carrying out regular maintenance and repairs of tractors and other farm implements
Operating tractors safely and efficiently
Using tractors to transport materials
Reporting of any faults to line manager
Adhere to all H&S requirements whilst driving and maintaining tractor

Plant Operator

We are looking for a reliable hardworking plant operator who has experience of working within the construction, civils, agricultural or forestry industry.

Due to the nature of our business, the successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout Scotland, this position would ideally suit someone who holds a full UK driving license.

Role requirements:

NPORS/CPCS Certified
Preferably experienced in the forestry, agricultural and construction industry
Preferably holds a full UK driving license

Key responsibilities:

Candidate will be required to undertake daily checks and maintenance of both plant and attachments
Operator will be responsible for manoeuvring and operating machine to load and transport materials.
Good understanding of material weights, machine capabilities
Have high level of health and safety awareness especially when operating plant machinery and on site. Adhere to H&S protocol.
