FLS - Merkins
We have recently completed works for Forestry and Land Scotland constructing new roads for the site at Merkins.
First site at Merkins - Knockupple
We constructed a 2800m forestry road including turning points, passing places, service areas, harvesting facilities and drainage works.
Second site at Merkins
We created a new forestry road of 350m including turning points, passing places, service areas, harvesting facilities and drainage works.
We carried out maintenance works on the existing road serving access to the new roads, including road resurfacing, pothole repairs, ditching, vegetation management then completing the job with grading and rolling the roads.
